Deacon Scott J. Conway
Ordained in 2011, Deacon Scott Conway has served in the Dioceses of Rockville Centre, Brooklyn, St. Petersburg, and St. Augustine. He has served as a teacher, principal, and superintendent within catholic schools. As Superintendent of Catholic Schools and the Bishop’s Delegate for Education, he provides leadership and oversight for the diocese’s 37 educational entities. Deacon Conway also serves on numerous statewide and national committees, contributing to the advancement of Catholic education.

Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools
Audra R. Smith
Mrs. Audra Smith brings 24 years of experience in education, having served the Diocese of St. Augustine as a teacher, Director of Compliance, and Director of Early Learning. She currently oversees K–8 schools and early learning centers, supporting school operations, curriculum, policies, and compliance. Her responsibilities also include professional development, mentoring, accreditation, teacher and catechist certification, and Letters of Endorsement. Audra works closely with school leaders and educators, using her experience in curriculum development and data analysis to support their needs. Her dedication to Catholic education reflects her belief that teaching and serving others is a vocation.

Associate Superintendent

Rhonda Rose
Mrs. Rhonda Rose has more than 37 years of experience in Catholic education. She has served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. She oversees accreditation, curriculum, assessments, school audits, regulatory compliance, and corrective action. She also assists with teacher certification and renewals, and SEVIS. Rhonda's years in the classroom and school administration have given her a strong understanding of the challenges teachers and principals face, allowing her to lead with both knowledge and compassion.

Executive Assistant to the Superintendent
Ronnie Vicenzi
Mrs. Ronnie Vicenzi brings several years of experience in education to the Office of the Superintendent. As Executive Assistant, she serves as the primary point of contact for the office, assisting diocesan schools, staff, and visitors with their needs. She coordinates meetings and logistics, as well as organizes retreats, professional development, and other diocesan events. Ronnie plays an important role in the daily operations of the office, helping ensure communication and coordination across the diocese.
